Jeanne R. Derber, O.D.
Dr. Derber graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1983 and has been in private practice in Colorado Springs since. Dr. Derber has served as the Director of Vision Services for the United States Olympic Training Center since 1988. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. She has held numerous positions in both associations and was awarded the COA's Optometrist of the Year. Dr. Derber is a Certified Medical Classifier for the US Association of Blind Athletes and the International Blind Sports Association. In addition she is the consultant for the Colorado College hockey team. She has done numerous vision screenings for elite athletes and has lectured across the United States on Sports Vision.

Ronald D. Solomon, O.D. F.A.A.O.
Dr. Solomon graduated from the Pennsylvania State College of Optometry in 1962. Upon graduation, he served as a staff optometrist at the United States Air Force Academy until 1965. He has been in private practice since then. Dr. Solomon is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association and has served as its president. The COA has awarded him the Professional Service Award twice, the Community Service Award, and the Optometrist of the Year. Dr. Solomon is a member of the American Optometric Association and has served on many of its committees. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the AOA. Dr. Solomon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has served as an officer for numerous community activities.

Curtis W. Gales, O.D.
Dr. Gales graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1996. After graduation, he completed a one year residency in Ocular Disease with the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry. As a member of the Armed Forces, Dr. Gales had several overseas assignments to include South Korea, Bosnia and Iraq. He joined Executive Park Eye Care from the Denver Health Medical Center System in 2001. Most recently Dr. Gales was chosen as the 2006 national winner of Vision Service Plan's People First Award. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association and the Southern Colorado Optometric Society. Dr. Gales has also served as an adjunct professor for the University of Houston College of Optometry and continues to have a special interest in ocular disease.

Eric J. Bohjanen, O.D.
Dr. Bohjanen is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Pacific University College of Optometry. He has done clinical work in settings such as the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Cheyenne, Wyoming diagnosing and managing patients with glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. He has also worked at the Indian Health Services Clinic in Kayenta, Arizona where clinical emphasis was on macular degeneration, cataracts, and infectious disease of the Navajo population. Dr. Bohjanen is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Colorado Optometric Association. He volunteers as a medical classifier for the International Blind Sports Association. He has conducted lectures for the Colorado Paraoptometric Association and various local organizations. He is currently the president of the Southern Colorado Optometric Society. He is our most recent addition to a team of great doctors.

Charles D. McMahon, M.D.
Dr. McMahon is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has fellowship training in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He has conducted extensive clinical research for the treatment of glaucoma with several pharmaceutical companies. Dr. McMahon has performed over 15,000 surgeries including cataract removal, corneal transplants and glaucoma procedures. He has performed over 5000 laser vision correction procedures (LASIK). In addition to his work in the office, Dr. McMahon volunteers his time to serve on the faculty of the University of Colorado Medical School, where he is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr. McMahon has been in private practice in Colorado Springs for twenty years.
